The Glistian Racing Club is a unique eco-system of fun and enjoyment.  Instead of purchasing a share in a racehorse, why not buy a share into a Racing Club?

Our Racing Club offers something quite unique, in the sense that you are part of a community of likeminded individuals, that are passionate about horses and that at the end of the day, get rewarded for that same passion. Here is how: The Racing Club offers 4 high quality racehorses assigned to a specific racing jurisdiction. Thereafter, the upfront cost covers all the nitty gritty monthly and unforeseen expenses as an initial lumpsum, therefore eliminating another bill ever again for the duration of the package period i.e. 1 year or 2 years.

As a Racing Club member, you are also entitled to a fantastic Black membership package that offers each Black member incredible and unmatched offers.

Furthermore, you also get an experience trip to the racing jurisdiction for 4 nights, flight included and all inclusive during your stay.

We at Glistian are well aware that trust and confidence play a vital role to the success of any business, product or service.  

As a result, once you have completed a purchase with us, we provide the following documentation:

- A Share certificate, outlining what was purchased, when the purchase was made, the validity of such purchase and what the purchaser is entitled to.
- Quarterly financial statements.  Although the purchases are made upfront, it is important to be aware of where the monies go to.  Furthermore, there will be stakes and other racing incentives that could potentially be generated from our racehorses, and these are by all rights, yours to be split by your percentage of share.

Whether you have purchased a 1 year or 2 year package period with the Glistian Racing Club, or simply as an individual syndicate shareholder, you have the choice of the following when you period expires:

1. Renew your share at a discounted rate.
OR
2. Sell your share to an existing Glistian member.
OR
3. Give your share back.

No, you will not have to pay a single cent further.  The only amount you ever pay, is the original upfront purchase fee.

All horses listed undergo a rigorous diligence process, that includes a veterinarian check, conformation assessment, and value assessment that includes pedigree analysis and other factors that determine the market value of a horse.

Only horses that meet the above criteria, are then purchased by Glistian Racing. However rigorous our diligence process is, no guarantees can be made in terms of how successful they will be on the race track.

Our goal is to use the best practices, partner with credible horsemen, and be rigorous with our diligence/assessments, but there will always be an element of risk.

There will be weekly pictures and videos shared with each Racing Club member and/or Individual Syndicate shareholder.

Furthermore, there will also be bi-weekly progress reports provided by the trainer that may include information on the horses wellbeing, improvements, injuries, race plans, tactics to name a few points to report on.

Yes and we encourage each of our members and/or shareholders to do so. Understanding that these horses will be racing in South Africa, we will ensure that the trainers of the respective horses host you accordingly.

As a Glistian Racing Club member, this opportunity is taken care of in the included experience trip.

These horses will be based in South Africa.  

As a Glistian Racing Club Member and/or Individual Syndicate Shareholder, you do not have any say in how the horse is managed. Due to the nature of the way the Racing club is structured, the intent is for the Racing Manager to make decisions regarding the horse.

No.  You will be racing under the auspices of the Glistian racing Club, therefore it will not be necessary to do so.

We are committed to ensuring every horses wellbeing after their racing careers have come to an end.  As a result, we tema up with various reputable organizations that provide these beautiful animals with a good home.
