This colt was born early Oct. of 2022, and was recently purchased at this years Premier National Yearling Sales, where only the best of their class are showcased.  He is a bay colt standing good ground, clean legs,  strong shoulder and girth - leaving him with plenty room for those lungs to take in all the oxygen he needs for maximum performance.  Well balanced individual with a keen eye.  His conformation suggests speed, therefore we hope to have him early on the tracks & take advantage of the R100,000 BSA juvenile bonuses.

ACT OF WAR, an imposing Champion son of the mighty Dynasty.  Winner of 8 races including the GR1 Cape Guineas. From his 1st crop, he sired not only one, but TWO Group 1 winners in the form of Tripe Tiara heroine WAR OF ATHENA and GR1 Sprinter BATTLE FORCE.  Other high class performers such as Bartholdi and Rollwiththepunches also bring credit where its due and after a stellar 1st crop, and a full book of mares the last 2 seasons, we feel ACT OF WAR is ready to produce another champion.

His dam, TWICE AS SMART, 5 time winner, sound & honest filly that produced high class performances in running places in both Group 2 & Group 3 events.  Hailing from a strong Oaks winning family both locally & Internationally. She is by Twice Over, the sire of Multiple Champions Do it Again, See it Again, Sand & Sea, Double Superlative.

TRAINER

A serious horsemen with prodigal like talents.  Tony Peter's 1st season as a licensed trainer just finished and with a small yard of less than 40 horses and only 7 months of training, Tony achieved a breath-taking 27% winners to runners strike rate, a Gr1, 2 x Gr2, and a Gr3 to put the cherry on the top.  Hailing from a richly passionate family of horse lovers, Tony's father, Paul, set a record for most wins last season in South African history, and by Tony's accounts, he is set to maintain the Peter family name in the history books for years to come.
